London-based cellist Julia Morneweg enjoys a remarkably versatile career as a soloist, chamber musician and artistic curator that regularly sees her perform at prestigious venues and alongside many distinguished colleagues. She has also carved out a reputation as one of London's most in-demand cello teachers, with an exceptional record of student success.

Following the exceptional reception to their trio performances as part of ChamberMusicBox, Julia has joined forces with the outstanding pianist and RCM piano professor Ilya Kondratiev and two-time Diapason d’Or-winning violinist Yuri Kalnits to form the Trio Lalique.

In the words of Yvonne Georgiadou, Artistic Director of the prestigious Pharos Arts Foundation, " Trio Lalique is a remarkably dynamic ensemble that epitomises the extraordinary musical artistry, charisma, and visionary leadership of its three distinguished members, each of whom is an outstanding virtuoso in their own right. With their exceptional musicianship and innovative approach to performance, there is no doubt that the Lalique Trio will leave an indelible mark on the classical music scene and captivate audiences worldwide".
