Julia running Race for Life

For years Julia has been a dedicated supporter of various charities, usually supporting them through organising and playing fundraising concerts. This time she decided to leave the cello in its case and instead run to raise money for Cancer Research UK.

Julia is an avid runner and whenever her schedule allows she can usually be found either on a treadmill or on the roads near her home in Kingston upon Thames. So it is a welcome opportunity for her to put her training to good use and participate in the 5k Race for Life at Kempton Park on 27 July 2008. 

The work of Cancer Research UK can not be regarded enough as it funds vital research into new treatment options to give patients a better chance of survival. Having witnessed family members and close friends battle cancer, Julia is passionately commited to raising funds for research.
